• Future Care Needs and Costs Analysis – A future care needs and cost analysis, also known as a life care plan, is a dynamic document that outlines the goods and services and associated costs an individual will need over the course of their lifetime due to a subject injury.  These assessments and the subsequent reports are completed by one of our Certified Life Care Planners.

    • Critique and Rebuttal Reports: When providing critique and/or rebuttal reports, one of our occupational therapists will review and comment on the expert report prepared by another health care professional. Using our strong understanding of the personal injury field, our occupational therapist will provide an objective, defensible report that holds up to intense professional scrutiny.

    • Catastrophic Determination Assessments: When assessing for catastrophic designation, one of our occupational therapists thoroughly assesses the injured party over a variety of measures and indicators and generates a detailed report.  This report will then be included among reports by other health professionals to determine whether the applicant meets the criteria for catastrophic determination.

    • Attendant Care/In-Home Assessments: When assessing for attendant care needs, one of our occupational therapists visits the client in their living environment and determines the amount and type of assistance needed in order to complete their regular personal care activities. A detailed report is prepared.

    • Case Management Services: When providing case management services, one of our occupational therapists will work to oversee and manage a client’s care as they navigate through the rehabilitation process. Our therapist will work in collaboration with all members of the health care team to ensure all treatment goals are met and that all available avenues for treatment are pursued.

    • Home Modification Assessments: When assessing for home modifications, one of our occupational therapists visits the home of the injured party and determines what modifications are necessary in order to ensure the home meets the client’s needs for safety and accessibility. Our occupational therapist will work in conjunction with experts such as contractors and architects in order to generate an accurate projection of the cost that will be incurred for the proposed renovation.

    • Loss of Service in Wrongful Death: A loss of service in wrongful death is a comprehensive assessment that analyzes all quantifiable losses the bereaved have sustained as the result of a wrongful death. A report is then generated by a trained occupational therapist that outlines all areas for which the bereaved is entitled to receive compensation.

    • Job Site Assessments: In a job site assessment, one of our occupational therapists assesses an injured person’s workplace and outlines the physical requirements of the position. The therapist will also be able to suggest modifications to the workplace to help the individual transition back into the workplace.

    • Discharge Coordination: When assisting with discharge coordination, one of our occupational therapists visits the injured party in the hospital prior to discharge, and determines, with the assistance of the hospital’s treating team, what assistive devices the individual will need to ensure safety upon return to the home environment. The occupational therapist then orders the devices and subsequently visits the client in their home, in order to ensure all needed devices have arrived, are installed, and are being used properly. Short-term follow up may be provided, if needed.

    • Short Term Occupational Therapy Treatment: When providing occupational therapy treatment, one of our occupational therapists will meet with the client, generate a list of functional goals and work one-on-one with the client in order to help the client maximize their functional performance and safety and meet their individual goals.
